103 - Employee Rights
- As an SNC employee, you are authorized to use company time to participate in safety activities.
- Unsafe acts or conditions shall be reported as soon as practical to your supervisor or the responsible department as directed.
- You have the right to review a copy of the Occupational Safety and Health Program documents (OSHA Act of 1970; Title 29 CFR 1910 and 1926) and details of the Fleet Safety Program. You also have the right to review the plant annual summaries of injuries/illnesses.
- You have the right to access your records of chemical and physical hazard exposure, as well as your medical records associated with your employment with the Southern Company. These records shall be obtained by request to the SNC Site Safety or Medical and FFD Services Department. Your exposure and medical records can only be released by your written and signed request.
