210 – General Requirements for Signs and Tag
- All signs that are posted for OSHA compliance shall meet the requirements spelled out in 29 CFR 1910.145, Specifications for Incident Prevention Signs and Tags
- Signs shall be posted in a location that is visible to employees entering the area. The signs shall be posted before the hazard is encountered so employees can take protective measures to prevent harm.
- Signs shall be secured in a manner to prevent them from being easily disengaged from the surface to which it is mounted or attached.
