508 – Elevators
- Materials carried on elevators shall fit in the confines of the car and shall not extend through the work hatch of the car.
- The load carrying capacity of elevators shall not be exceeded.
- Freight and equipment shall not be transported in passenger elevators without taking special precautions to ensure that passengers are protected from the potential hazards created by the freight.
